Hello prajakta9595,
The Pros are:
1] it's an MNC.
2] you feel the growth will be better vis-a-vis the present job [better be clear & sure about this aspect--do your ground work well before coming to any conclusion on such matters].
3] possibility of getting permanent is there, in which case you can be well settled.
The Cons are:
1] Even though they said you CAN become permanent, there is always a chance of NEGATIVE.
2] In the worst-case scenario [you not getting permanent], you will be again searching for a job after 6 months. Usually in such situations, most companies alert well before the last date--so you could have some breathing/grace period to search out. And given the strong possibility that you will gain some good exp here & the fact that the job market doing well, that may not be difficult--but like I said again there is always a chance of the worst-case scenario becoming real.
I haven't touched upon the Salary part, since you haven't mentioned about it.
Now it's upto you to take the decision.
All the Best.

Thanx for your valuable suggestions. But the fact is that I am not satisfied with my current job when I compare my current job profile and the profile which they have offered me their offers seems worth for my HR career. So as u said in worst case If I wont be permanent there the 6 months experience that I have gained there will be considered in the job market?

Hello prajakta9595, The processes in MNCs are usually very professional. So as long as you make an all-out effort to learn, it should stand you in good stead for the future. Rgds, TS

Hi Prajakta.

If this is one of the top MNC of any good growing sector and you find the work culture good you may think to accept the contractual offer for the said 6 months.

But, if you are serious to join my advice is to keep yourself updated for the current job profile and give your best possible delivery to your employer for their highest degree of satisfaction level.

Try to gather the advance information of your next promotion in the organisation, may it be contractual or permanent and understand the job profile well in advance, of course for the betterment of your performance and employer's satisfaction.

As a recruiter in the industry, we have closely observed that either Indian companies or MNC's, they need results, and hiring/firing has become the normal feature for non performers at the end of the day.

You should prove as a different professional as compared with other regarding your work performance.

This might help you to have a permanent employment with MNC after your contractual period.

Now please note that even after the four months you accept the offer, the circumstances and symptoms are showing the negativity in your work even after giving them your best contribution, do not think to resign or change [which will certainly show the instability in your profile which is not good], but try to find out where are the mistakes? If found, go and rectify them.

This attitude will surely help you to grow in your carrier in the organisation you are working for.

Also think for the compensation package, if this is up to your satisfaction level, we will advise you to go and accept the challenge.

All the very best to you.

It seems as a oral probation period,, as every company do,, for 3 or 6 months,,
Its just to know the employee skills whether he/she could performed the given work in a proper way or not...
i think you should try your level best..
Good luck..
