Dear All,
Pls confirm, is there any legal impact of paying F & F settlement amount directly crediting/through NEFT in the bank account of the resigned employee, the settlement letter would be issued via HRMS.

Is there any problem in issuing a cheque to that effect instead of NEFT transfer.
If you issue a cheque you can have a proof immediately in your hand and you can keep a copy of cheque (if required) along with a letter issued by HR Team in your company's personal file of resigned employee. If it is a NEFT transfer you have to get the complete printout of day's transaction and keep the record in separate file.

Transfer thru NEFT is noth but issuing e-cheque. It is valid transaction. you can have the print out of transaction details. Regards R.Ponraj
