steps:
1. First apply for Certificate of the Principal Employer (i.e Form V in West Benga)l to the Principal Employer under which your company is working along with duly filled in Form IV and Trade licence (if applicable in your case).
2. After getting Form V you may directly approach to the Licencing Office for getting labour Licence with the following documents: a) Form V (Certificate of the Principal Employer) b) Form IV (Application for Labour Licence) c) Work Order Copy (only the papers where the duration of the Contract is mentioned) c) Original Copy of Treasury Challans (as a Proof of submitting the amount under Contract Labour Act & Rules (as per central or state as the casemay be).
The Licencing Officer will take your application along with the above mentioned documents for preparation of Labour Licence.
And within 15 days will getlabour licence.
