Well, some companies do give stipend and some dont. the max i hav seen IT companies pay interns is Rs.5k. and this is the highest end companies. average/good companies pay 3.5k. but its impt that u ask them if they r willing to pay. at times, u dont get a stipend until u ask for it.

One more point if its in policy then you pay stipend otherwise its cost to the compony...Any suggestion
