Mumbai Shop And Establishment Act 1948


Hi, My question is I am just going to start a new Factory for Packeting, So, Do I need a Mumbai shop act licence as i am already having One for my registered Office. regards

Dear Member, If your new unit of Packeting is covered under the The Factories Act, 1948 then you are required to have Factory Licence irrespective of the fact that you are having Shops Act licence for your registered office.
