Minimum Wages Act Amendments For Maharashtra


The Basic Wage rates under Minimum Wages Act are amended. I want to know about the amendments, whether retrospective and date of effect.

Thanks. one more querty the special allowances rates for 1st July, 2010 to 31st Dec. 10, for 'Factories under Factories Act' are reduced from somewhere from 19th July, what is the reason.

I do not the reason but most of the companies are still paying Rs. 1394.00 as special allowances and not the revised SA Rs. 561.75
As per the govt circulars it should be 5800+561.75= 6361.75 for skilled category.
