To my knowledge the Payment of Bonus Act 1965 is amended last on 15.9.2007 with an effective date of 1.4.2006. The major amendments are
1. The salary celing for bonus coverage enhanced from Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 10,000.
2. The salary celing for calculation of bonus payment enhanced from Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 3,500.
