Hi Friends
Can you please guide me through the various steps involved in deciding the salary increment for employees? I need your valuable advice on how are usual IT companies deciding on their salary increment duration (period) and performance appraisal. What is the usual rate of increment in IT companies (especially in Cochin, Kerala).
Thanks in advance

Hi peoplesdg
Really appreciate your comments regarding this. I know that the salary hike varies from company to company and from employee to employee based on their performance, but I was looking for a standard (minimum) percentage of increase which are offered to the employees annually.. No matter how he/she performs.
So if there are some (un)defined standards for the same, can you please provide me some comments on this?
Thanks once again for your prompt response and valuable comments.
Regards
Sujith
