last date to declare the Holiday list and in which for to be filled with labour Office is 30 Nov. 10. as per The National & Festival Holiday Act. 1963 in form A . also find the attachment copy of List of Holiday for 2011 for your information.

Dear Ashwini,
If your establishment is covered under the Shops & Establishment Act then go through your applicable State Shops Act & see whether the Act says to submit the list of holidays with the labour office or not ? Take action accordingly.

Plz go through your state Shops Act & applicable Rules to see whether we are required to sent any list of holidays to the Inspector or any other officer of the area.

Hi Khola and all seniors
Please help me in this regard...our enployee strenth is around 12 employees now.we hav not registed with PF or ESI.Now we want take our security and house keeping on our roll.is it must to pay them ESI or PF..
Please sugesste me on this....

Dear Ashwini,
Then we are not suppose to sent any list of holidays to the Inspector of the area. We are to grant national & festival holidays to the employees as provided by the Act.
