Dear,
First of all my advise Don't break PF because that is your saving for future. If the employee want to break his PF Give resignation to his HR/Personal Department. After some time Rejoin...............

Dear Mohan das,
This is for your information that para 26A of Employees' Provident Fund Scheme,1952 provides that a member once enrolled under the Scheme shall continue to be member all the times except when he is finally withdraws the PF accumulations standing to his credit in the Funds and not otherwise.Of Course his contribution can be restricted to 6500/-p.m.if he opt to continue.
It is always better to continue the PF membership as it is a social security scheme which provides many benefits including pension.

Dear Mohandas
It is not possible to opt out of PF.
If a member already in PF role, even he is getting more than 6500, could not opt out of PF role. He is in PF roll till his resignation, left or retirement.
