Dear Sir/Madam,

Can u please help me,

I am working xxxx (MNC) company and gave my resignation from my job. I have sent my resignation letter through mail to my manager but they have not sent any mail reply. After that I have sent one reminder in which I have asked them to acknowledge the same and reply me back. I have received outlook box acknowledgement but one of my manager has replied that he need to discuss internally and will reply. From the date of my resignation I gave 1 month 20 days time. Till today I have not received any reply from my employeer. In appointment letter employeer has mentioned that if employee want to resign from the company then company need 3 months time, vise versa If employee terminated by the employeer then he or she will get one mothe notice. Now what shall I do?

Also they have mentioned in appointment letter if anybody will resign from the company then he or she can not join any competitor upto 3years. Is there any rule in India that employeer will stop employee to join any competitor? Can employeer take any legal action against employee.

Seniors...Please help me what to do.... Looking forward for a speedy response.

Hi
Regards
This is prakash...
I just saw u r post
This was an interesting case I ever seen..
But,
I can give you one suggestion..
If you have the rule of that the employer made a bond that you have to work for three months just work for three months from the date of your resignation and remind them that you are quitting the job..
so that additional proof you have that your mail of resignation..
and the second bond made by you for the company is that you have not to join in any competitor for three years.. that may not be work for your career...
Why be cause that you cant work with another company with same designation..
but i think you can work with another designation and another job type...
I think sooo.....

Dear Ratna Prakash,
Firstly you have made you stand clear that 3 moths notice period is not acceptable and to reduce the same in case the company needs your service, having acknowledged the appointment letter/offer letter it is mandatory to maintain the discipline.
Secondly, you were instructed in writing that you will not join any competators company for a period of 3 years, and you have duly acknowledged by you, have to morally binding on you.
Henceforth it is advised to clear the terms & conditions clearly and to seek clarifications with regard to notice period etc before acknowledging the offer letter
