Hi every one....
I am working for the hospitality industry. I have been assistant training manager but recently I was moved to set up the Training department in one of a new hotel in the same group . There are no instructions or guidance coming in from the corporate what soever.
Could some one help with a checklist as to what are the things i need to keep in mind while setting up the department i.e with ref to training materil required, action plan etc
Thanks

Hi,
Depending on the type of hotel, the necessary crockery & cutlery, salvers, linen like table cloth, napkins etc. Incase you have a PMS then a dummy copy for practice.
Motivational and technical videos, ppt on different topics.
The most important would be, the training content and the SOPs incase the hotel has one.
These are the general requirements for a training centre.

Hello P. Aatchy. We have a training model with an assessment form for setting up a training department. You might want to check it out at http://www.businessperform.com/html/..._practice.html and http://www.businessperform.com/html/...g_systems.html
We also have a set of training administration templates/forms etc for managing training at http://www.businessperform.com/html/...ment_pack.html
I hope this helps.
