Rekha,
I have worked in recruitment for a long time. i will tell you some tips for doing good recruitment.
You can always download CV's from some good job portals like Naukri.com, after that before you talk to the candidate you first understand the requirement for the position that you are trying to fill, understand what skills that person shold know. If you study in a bit detail you can ask the candidate questions from your end at the time of telephonic round. only when he is able to answer you you should send it to superior for review. When you do so there is less chance of candidate getting rejected.
" Study the profile well".

Hi sruthi,
Thank you, but my problem is to find a standard method like sourcing the resume and getting shortlist from my technical people or to forward the resume to my people and then arranging a telephonic interview and then written test.
Please give me a suggestion, how you people follow .

Hi Rekha,
As you mentioned that you are working for IT company, it is obvious that most of the times you would be working on IT requirements. So, First and foremost thing which you need to do is make a list of Technologies for which you get most of the reqirements to the positions and do a brief study of these technologies. This would help you at first place to search and shortlist the right resumes of the candidates. This would also help you to cross check the candidates experience mentioned in the CV and screen the fudge. It would be great if you can prepare a set of technical questionnaires during the initial stages till the time you get comfortable with this process.
While ckecking candidates Technical Expertise following are the few things which are always mandatory to ask
1. Years of Technical Experience and Skill set
2. Current postion and Company
3. Project
4. Team size and his role in Team
5. Job resposibiities
6. Project Managers name for verification purpose
Next comes Check List for all other things which you need to check the behavioral aspects. These are the few inputs which I could recollect. Would try to post some concrete information abt the complete recruitment process very soon.
