Any group of people working for a common objective in a sequenced or framed manner with the available and required resources can be said as organization.

When the term “People” is said then there comes the concept - “The Human factor”.

Every individual is Unique. Each act according to their Ego states, as the human psyche composed of Ego and Super Ego.

Hold……..on……….

Any organization will have its own top management

Accounts department

Administration department

Then other departments [as per the nature of the company] like

Public Relations

Marketing

IT

Legal advisory

Ware House and so on…………….

Apart from these departments, the department that rides the chariot is the Human Resources Department.

Right from HR planning the HR personnel takes care of Recruitment, Selection of the right people for the right Job as required by the concerned department (organizing the selection event), Induction, Organizing Training & Development programmes, Compensation Management, Grievance handling and Employee relations etc.

At last, what is the objective of the HR department?

It is only for a smooth functioning of all the departments.

Coming back to the point, People are managed.

Managing the human resource, irrespective of designation, status, nature of importance with the organization, level of power etc. is the most typical task. Every individual acts and work, to get his / her needs at that point of time (Maslow’s hierarchy needs).

So providing him the needs, run the show with a promise, and making the staff not getting diverted from the track, is the objective of the Human resource Department

Keeping this in mind I continue to discuss on the topic “The goal of HRM is H ? ? ? ? ? Y “

Human Resource Management is an artistic science that deals with minds of people.

As every one knows change is the only factor that does not change, so is the Human Behavior. Every person will have two types of Character, one is the basic character that defines the general nature of the person and one is situational character that describes the person’s behavior at a particular point of time or Situation.

E.g.: if a person receives a glad news which is totally related with his personal life, his reaction at his office may get impacted and he would behave in a good manner with his co workers. Even psychologically, gets confidence and might win negotiations.

So in vice versa cases.

The unseen factor is, the function of the Human’s conscious and sub conscious mind’s actions.

Subconscious mind of every person emits a wavelength frequency that plays a vital role in organizations.

This could be understood by observing various practical instances. Every person acts according to his belief.

Even it can be defined that “Every individual is his Belief”

The liking or disliking of any thing depends on his belief. That makes the subconscious mind to act and reflects in the behavior.

As every person has his/ Her own beliefs and Egos that (accordingly) makes the close proximity or Gap between people. So in any organization as lot of people work together and are different in Psychological wavelength, it is very difficult to bind them to be sentimentally with the group.

Employee should be sentimentally attached with the organization. Only then, the work will be perfect. It also provides a concentric growth for the organization and the staff. That reduces the employee turnover and increases the profit.

As every one, have their own believes and Ego, How is it possible??

Yes, it is the magic of H R M.

As said above if any news or information motivates a person, it makes the situational character to command his subconscious mind and his / her basic or fundamental nature is over ruled.

Therefore, the behavior changes, as the mind is happy. Then automatically any deal with any people ends in a WIN - WIN situation (Normally).!!!

As this motivational theory works out constantly, (The Human needs are endless) (also Maslow’s theory speaks this) the subconscious minds gets tuned and the character of a person gets changed in a period of time, and makes it matching it sentimentally with the organization.

There the organization becomes center of belief and people work for that

Even belief on religions work in this way ………………………..

The H R M is managing the work environment by motivating the people using the following techniques continuously.

1) Recognition of work

2) Frequent interaction with subordinates

3) Rewards

4) Recreation Activities

5) Staff welfare

6) Educational support to children of labor staffs

7) Transparent Appraisals

8) Grievance management

9) Ensuring care towards the employee growth

When this kind of management techniques are applied, the objective “HARMONY” is reached.

[“A harmony between the inner and the outer is difficult enough to maintain always because of the strength of sensory forces influencing the mind through out the waking life of the individual. A counter-force from within has to be generated to keep the balance of consciousness so that the outer forces of sense-perception may not overwhelm it and make it merely an instrument of sense-gratification and the physical urges.”]

It is that the conclusion

The goal of HRM is H ? ? ? ? ? Y

The goal of HRM is H A R M O N Y
