Dear Sheela,
You are in the right platform dont worry..Every good thing starts with small achievements.. if you think you are good enough or completed around 6 months or more in recruitment firm, start looking for HR job in companies.. Pvt. Ltd. companies will also do..dont rush into things.. and then in the next stage you can target some big brands.. Try to grasp things as much as you can in the first two years, succcess will follow..dont worry...
All the very best.. Do good and one more and most imp. thing,,never lose hope and confidence..

hi! sheela,
you are on the right track. Jus have patience and learn things step by step.
recruitment is the first and the most important part of HR. and even recruiting job requires lot of skills to identify right ppl for the right job. so jus learn things well and then start looking for job in some Pvt. Ltd co's.
Keep lot of self learning and never give up at any point even if job becomes monotonous or very hectic because HR profile is very wide and lot of timely updates are required to excel in this field.
m sure by following the right path u'll soon become a hardcore HR person in few years.
Wish you good luck :)

Dear Sheela
Kindly start with understanding what recruitment is?
Take one step at a time. Then understand the market situation.
After that try and understand the client / business requirements and accordingly check, are you able to get right candidate for the right position. Try and close as many positions as possible with in the given TAT. Try and work on positions at all levels.
Understand the pre requisits and common skills in a particular industry / sector.
Kindly do this & let me know if you need any more help.

I think having done an MBA, you need to be confident because of the knowledge base that you have. Secondly, interact with other HRs like HR FORUMS and join in HR association. In that regard, you will be able to share knowledge and improve your network.
Coming back to your question, start with Payroll and statutory processes, recruitment procedures and do have HR templates to make you start working.
Above all, keep in touch with CiteHr friends!!!
