Hi Everyone,
I have been getting numerous emails about how it's impossible to download attachments from CiteHR. I want the members who face this problem regularly to update their browser to the latest version of IE or download firefox.
Update IE: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/dow.../getitnow.mspx
I have tried downloading many of the attachments on threads where many members have asked the attachment to be sent to them by email and have succeeded.
If you face problems even after updating please post a reply here along with the following details:
1) Browser version
3) Operating system
2) Do you have access to install a new browser to your computer?
Regards,

Hi CHR,
Nope the problem is not the browser.
The way to download (and this is the way it works 100%) is by
1. Right-clicking on the "file name" as against "click here to download".
2. Then selecting "save target as".
Thats all!
Immense number of times I have posted the instructions - but the silly goose that some of these folks are they keep overlooking it and keep flooding it with the following message "pls send it on my personal id blah blah".
As a suggestion since we have so many newbies joining in everyday you can do the following:
Put a separate "how to download guide" with graphic (screenshots). Maybe then they will understand.
another way would be completely do away with the "click here to download" link as the "file name" serves the same function already.
Its a shame some of these guys are HR professionals in IT companies!!!

Hi Nad,
You dont need to be too harsh on those who dont know how to download stuff from CiteHR.
These words doesnt sound professional. I too agree with your point on some people overlooking your instructions to download. But dont get angry on them. I also welcome your suggestion on creating a "Tips to download" which will minimise the complaints on "Unable to download".
Hope this is taken in good sense.
