Hi, Can anybody share the data on salary bands/ designations or grades implemented in seeds industry?. Any HR related data for this industry would be a great help. regards Parul.

Regarding your query, solution is not specific. It varies with the size, turnover & future plans of Companies.
We segregate our Seed Firms into four Categories :
1. Seed Giants (Major Players - Monsanto, PHI, Bayer, Syngenta etc.)
2. Mid Size growing Companies (Ex: Nuziveedu Seeds, Mahyco Seeds, Advanta India Ltd., JK Agrigenetics Ltd., US Agri, Shriram Bioseed etc.)
3. Mid Size Constant Market Share Companies (Ex: Krishidhan Seeds, Ganga Kaveri Seeds, Ajeet Seeds, CP Seeds etc.)
4. Small Size Companies (Yashoda Seeds, Doctor Seeds etc.)
After a complete segregation u also have to understand about the roles & responsibilities of employees working at different designations. Based on the role, salary should be decided.
