there following options ar available apart from the one mentioned here
1. if the employee has not completed 1 full calender year in service then in the last year if he was present for 2/3rd of his time, he is eligible and the calculation remains same as mentioned above.
2. the worker should inform the mgmt about his intention to proceed on leave 30 days earlier in case of public utility or 15days in others.
3. sick leave on account of urgent sickness can be converted to leave with pay after returnng to work.
4. long leave of more than 4 days should be taken not more than 3 times.
5. accumalation of leave allowed 30 for a adult and 45 for child. if leave applied as per the rules but not granted by mgmt can be carried fwd without any limit
6. accumaltion in leave balance cannot be used for notice period.
In interest of work. it is advisable to form a leave policy by works commiittee which allows workers to regular leaves without disturbing the work schedule. but provision of such policy must offer better benefits than those mentioned in Sec 79 of the factories Act.

Is it necessary to encash the leave amount at closing of financial year, if the management to decide only to carry forward the leaves not to encash it is right or the company has to encash the leaves.
