Dear Abhinay,
As most MBA students in India go straight to programmes after their geraduation, they hardly have any practical experience. Hence, please search the web and you will find useful information. I found one at MBA Careers at http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&rlz=1...d6cedde5a9d9fc where you will find other links.
Please drop me a private message if you need more info.
Hanve a nice day.

Hi

Among other things, I would suggest you focus on making them aware of how life is different in the corporate world from their academic world. Emphasis on the expectations of the industry and how the challenge is to exceed expectations.

It would also benefit them if you talk to them about career planning and strategic job switches to ensure all round experience as well as career growth.

Draw their attention to the importance of continuing education to upgrade their skills as well as to keep abreast of the latest developments in their functional domain.

Mix it up with a few soft skill inputs on interview techniques, communication skills and team building.

Encourage the more enterprising to take the entrepreneurial route and others to choose specialized areas like Foreign Exchange management, OD interventions etc.

You can also ask them to visit my daily Inspirational and Motivational Blog Actspot's Blog for additional inputs for personal growth.

Best Wishes
