There are following types of leaves-
C.L- Casual Leave
P.L- Privilege Leave(Most of the company has either EL or PL)
E.L- Earned leave
S.L- Sick leave
Maternity Leave

  • Pregnancy Leave/Maternity Leave
  • Paternity Leave
  • Disability leave
  • Leave without pay
  • Leave for Election
  • Sabbatical Leave

hai, in our organisation ( LTD), Types of Leaves are PL,CL,SL & If employee Weekly off comes on GH he should get one day C-off (compensatory off). thanks & reagards, mann.

Dear Anwar,
Only PL or EL has been Given in factory Act 1948.
but accordingly Standing oreder leave varies company to company which may be CL or EL or Both and other paid Holi days in which 2nd oct, 26 Jan & 15 Aug are mandatory
If Female emps are employed, Maternity leave is Mandatory

7 in a year.
1 can be availed after 52 working days.
Cant availed with el or sl.
Holidays will b counted in cl.
Sl.
Emp which r not covered in esi will get 1 sl for 52 working days.
El.
1 for every 20 wrkng days.
Can be availed after complete 240 days. In a year.

i want to ask if we are giving around 40 leaves to our employees(10 cl.15 ml and 15 el,we also club them and adjust them as a sign of goodwill) in a year is it important to have further more leaves?
