Gratuity Rules
I have joined a private limited company after retirement as a permanent
employee and at present my age is 64 plus. The Provident Fund
contribution is not applicable in my case hence I am not a PF member.
I would like to know whether I am eligible for Gratuity whenever I
complete five years service or eligibility is only for those who are
members of PF. Please clarify.
Thanks

Dear
There is no precondition for becoming a member of PF for receiving the gratuity amount. Age is also not a hindrance for getting gratuity.
