Hi,
Please ask ur friend to convince their parents and live the dream... Life is trying things to see if they work.
I don’t think setbacks, disappointments, rejections and unsuccessful attempts can be called failures. They are steps to success.

Hi,
If u ask me on the same , I wll suggest to chase your own dream .....rather than fulfilling Parents principle...coz ultimately U have to live your life by ur own.......and if u r confident enough about ur own dream...i believe its not so difficult to convince ur parents.....and I am sure they will understand ur thinking........So be confident and pursue your dream.

Hi,
as a parent myself, I would suggest you this advise to your friend.
First your friend must ensure that his/ her dream is a good one, the dream doesn't go against the law, religion, etc. Then try to convice the parent to support in his/ her dream. Prove that his/ her dream is as good as what the parent suggest, plus the friend will pursue it full heartedly.
Your friend will feel good because he/ she is pursuing his/ her dream with full support from the parent. We always need parent's support , be it morally, financially, etc. Try to talk to your parent with patience and inteligence.
I wish your friend good luck with the parent and with pursuing his/ her dream.

That at all depends. He has to convince his parents about what he is thinking and what are his plans, and whats going on in the current phase of life. He has to them understand, that is the only solution, keep on murmuring every now and than. Sometimes, parents do feel that there could be de-attachment if their Son is following his dreams. There are lot of things in Son-Parent relationship: emotions, attachment, love, fear of separation, etc.. so if parents are not understanding his situation, sit and talk with them.

you could dream but you need to condition them , that is where experience and principles come, take my word we all dream and dream different things during different times, if they have to be workable they have to be conditioned to do so, ask your parents, many a time their experience and inputs will bring smiles the long way. my sincere advise is just don not live only your dreams, you will end up being NOTHING but a dreamer

Hi
It is quite combursome. As you are aware that now a days no parent will force for their wishes into their child. However, there are few who like their way to upbring the child. I hope you are matured enough to explain the reasoning for your dreams as against your parents. So, it all depends on how good you are in persuading your parents in getting your way. Always keep in mind that not all experts are right. It the one who is in the fire is the best judge to come out of fire but using the ideas of experts and tailor made to suit. So, the answer is change your communication until you get the desired results. Keep going and persuade. There are million ways to communicate and keep trying and you will succeed. All the best

Many a times the young generation like us feel such things only due to generation gap. The fact is that our parents have done great for us. Let me ask your friend about an example where he/she did sacrifice. After getting the details only we can help him/ her to come out of such feeling which may come in the path of progress/ success.
Thanks

There is nothing bad in chasing your dream, but I think there is a way of explaining your dreams to your parents, specially parents who want their children to become one they (parents) wanted.. A typical parent in India want their children to excel in education, they want their children to do some very good courses and then to take a job.. means that every parent want to see their children financially sound.

But people have dreams some of them wanted to pursue the things (Fine Arts, Acting, Music, Games), which cannot assure the immediate assurance of their career, as there is lot of struggle includes in these areas...

If you are a parent you won't like your child to struggle in these areas, this may be a misconception but yes it is a certain thing that one need to be put into the chat with the parents while explaining.

There are people with different strengths and emotional levels, some very attached to the family find very difficult to act their own...

some are strong and strongly attached to their dreams... may find the way of their own...

And Lastly...
Dream is not a one day thing that I am talking here ... I am taking about that Dream which is the
ONE,
SINGLE,
HAS MEANING TO YOUR LIFE,
YOU HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT IT FOR YEARS AND YEARS,
YOU HAVE TOTAL FAITH IN YOUR DREAM

YOUR DREAM HAS A GREAT EXTENT OF ETHICS IN IT.(Ask Yourself, don't see anybody's opinion ,but ready with the answers that has the weight)
YOU ARE INTENTIONALLY OR DIRELY NOT HURTING ANYBODY (Ask Yourself, Please try to measure your emotions with others but if you are right then there is no reason to stop in case someone cry of nothing)

if you think that you have to pursue your dream ... it is the part of your life and you cannot live your life without it ... then there is no other option.. go for it... Explain and Fight every person that comes between you and your dream.

Please note that no one has ever reached their dream without obstacles.
