Hello Neha,
Apply simple logic either for factor or any service industry. Operations staffs account for about 60% to 70% Therefore, there is great growth prospectus.
My suggestion is don't just stick to routine operations. You need to implement techniques of Operations Research (OR). These mathematical techniques are great cost saving and you will earn appreciation from your superiors also.
Ok...

Thanks a lot for reply but being a beginner I am still in difficulty that how to get a good start and which kind of industry and work I should choose for operation management. Although I have 4.5 yr experience in pharma industry as quality control officer but that is totally different kind of work in comparison to management field.
