Dear Ms. Neelam, Good Afternoon:) Employee can apply for withdrawal of PF immediately after leaving job and PF Dept. takes 90 workings days for processing PF Claim

An employee is not suppose to send the withdrawal forms immediately after relieving but has to wait for two months as posted by cite.hr to withdraw the PF amounts. This waiting period of two months is to ensure that the employee has not been employed in another firm where EPF is enforced. However, in case of woman employee who leaves the company after getting married this waiting period of two months is not required but she can withdraw the amount immediately after leaving. Similar is the case with an employee who leaves the company for settlement abroad.

As per PF Act you should wait for a period of 60 days. This waiting period is for getting another job. If you get another job within the 60 days you should transfer the PF accumulation to the new PF number. If you don't get a job after 60 days, you should sign in the certificate of Non Employment in form 19 to claim the PF.

normally 2 - 3 months. In any case the P.F.Withdrawl form willbe processed after expiry of two months. From the date the form is forwarded the amount from P.F.Dept will be forwarded into ur account as mentioned in ur witdrwal form within 45 days normally.
too much delay may lead to unnecessary faormalities for example P.F.Dept may ask for affidavit on Rs.100 stamp paper if it is submitted after 5-6 years of ur resignation/ Termination.
Send all ur withdrawl form either thru Regd. A.D.Post or take a receiving of the same if submitted personally.
