training is done to accquire new skill or to improve upon the present one...it can be on the job as ell as off the job.
where as in workshop first the problem is discussed and then each one is asked to actively participate in it...this is an ongoing learning experience and new skills can be accquired.

but workshop is one where we can share our experience and we can able to get ideas about how to improve ourselves and our work performance and ofcourse here we do some assignments and games for better understanding of our work team etc.
