Dear Experts,
Ours is an auto components manufacturing company where we have around 150 employees and had to prepare a leave policy for our company. On going through the factories act, it talks only about the earned leave(ie., for every 20 days - 1 day leave). The factories Act does not talk about CL or SL. Request your advice on the same.

It is correct that the Factories Act, 1948 provides us the provisions of annual leave with wages in chapter VIII of this Act while CL & SL are allowed under the State Industrial Establishment ( National & Festival and Casual & Sick Leaves) Act. Therefore go through this Act for these leaves.After going through these minimum statutory leaves you may go through leave policies as provided at different threads & prepare this as per your requirement.
