Sir, I have submitted my resignation letter dated 13/06/09 due to personal problem in present posted location and asking reliving on 12/08/09 by serving complete notice period. My Manager called for discussion in the month being of august '09 and he said that i would be transferred in the month of September'09, he has written in my resignation letter and forwarded to Head HR, Head HR is also said the same thing so i accepted and i informed them that i will withdraw my resignation but the Resignation letter was not given back to me and September'09 is gone same time the transfer keeps getting postponed and i don't have any option in my hand so i have insecurity so i need our senior advice please.

Once the employee has given the resignation, the management has to accept the same in writing , however the employee does have the oppoutunity to withdraw the resignation before it gets accepted by the management
In your case, if there is no official response in writing from management side, you can withdraw your resignation through another official letter and keep the copy of the letter with you
Wait for management action , meanwhile try to solve the issue , by working at the same place or check up status of your transfer
Be sure the employee does have right to withdraw the resignation before the resignation acceptance is communicated to the employee
