Dear Friends,
I am interested in knowing how to deal with the situation whereby employees feel that without financial rewards or salary increases their task achievements/production must be low.
Everyone has been affected by the economic crisis. Somehow I feel there must be other ways of motivation that employees can enjoy though I have not figured out what to present to them without spending any money?
In this time of economic crisis, how can we motivate our employees? We are unable to increase their salaries or give them financial rewards because of budget restrictions, what other motivation means do we have?

First i wnt to make clear u that money is not only a single way to motivate your employees.there r certain more tasks.
1) Appreciate your employees if any achievement has been done by them.
2) Encourage your people in order to find out some solution for the financial crisis u are facing
3) Employees r heart of any organization so give them food coupon or etc so that at least they live better than the others and which also creates nice impression towards ur company.

My main concern is that because of budget constraints, Companies are not able to increase salaries or afford any financial rewards or anything that requires money. What are the measures one can take to face these challenges in order not to loose the best staff?
Of course supervisors apprecite their staff when any task has been achieved but the employee would wish to receive some rewards of some kind for that. But right now, the company cant afford because there are much more pressing issues to be taken care of in order for the Company to survive.
Any suggestions?
