Hi Prerana,
This is rudra here... I am an event manager from mumbai . We do organise event for corporates for different occassions and festivals...apart from corporate events like seminars / conference / product launch / team building games / activities etc..
I would suggest ...one should give customised MUG...you can have carricature artist in office who will design customised design for all your employees...
Ideas are endless ...depending upon the budget...

hi prerana
sorry if this idea seems old. but this is something we used to do in our college. its called secret friend.
we used to write and put everyones name in a box. thn each of us would go and pick a chit. it need not be everyone doing it together, we used to leave it on the desk and any one can go and pick it any time. but only once. and on one says who got whose name. on friendship day each of us have to bring a gift for the person whose name we have taken.
we used to have lots of fun doing this. since its always a suprise to know who is ur secret friend and also helps in bringing the whole class together.
regards
ami

WHy dont you work, and let the employees work? Always bring something not relevant and disturb employees, seems all HR only know how to organise event s and dont know other things ;-0

Ravi, if HR stops doing all this stuff you are the guys to make a fuss about it!! And remember, a little fun at work place adds motivation. You realy cant work for 8 hours a day..so if now and then something new is done, it make the workplace more exciting and lively - a place where you like going, and enjoy working.

Dear All,

We would be celebrating the friendship week from Monday,

During this week we would be have the following Fun filled events with the touch of Friendship Theme.

We would invite QBAN DM team to participate in the events like - Poem writing, Painting and Collage with the theme “ ”.

The Event schedule is as following:

3rd August: The Friends on the floor are requested to come in the same color dress theme (The friends decide this).

4Th August: There will be a photo session between 2 to 3 PM in the BSP Break out area, you can pose with your friends and make those moments memorable for you all. You can continue the dress theme as same.

5Th August: Is the day to submit the Poems, Collage, paintings to the respective point of contacts as mentioned below. You may collect the charts from Julian for the collage.

The SPOC for the submission, Lorrainesonia D’souza will be for the BSP Building and Binod Panigrahi will be for the NTS Building.

6th August: We will have all the collage, Painting and Poems for display.

7th August: Is the of the Friendship Week. In BSP Break out area the FGC brings out varieties of Programs on Friendship. There will be an interesting Quiz program conducted to bring out the best friends together. We request you to send the entries to Geetha Biradar for participating in this Quiz.

Few things to make a note before you send the entries.

1. Quiz is taken by only 2 friends.

2. You need to give the names together.

3. You both should be available at the time of Quiz.

Look forward to have a great bonding week.

Regards

How abt:
A day with no frustrations, anger, scoldings..shoutings.
And a day with lunch outside. .with just casual attire.
Makes life simple and easy.
(celebrating otherwise with all the other things looks too childish) - I mean employees will get bugged!

good concept...especially the 4th August theme: Dressing similarly and pose with friends....:-)
