I am employed with a nationalised bank as an officer for last 38 years and my basic+da is 35000/= what will be my gratuity on retirement. does the rule are different for clerical & officer

hi,
gratuity is equal for all,its upto max Rs 10,000,00/- if eligible
calculation goes:
last basic+Da /26*15*no of years served
suppose your last salary is= 40,000/- and you worked for 32 years
then;
40,000/26*15*32
=Rs 7,384,61/-

In nationalised banks, as per gratuity rules, gratuity is payable at the rate of 15 months basic pay subject to maximum of Rs.1000000/-. You have given your total pay(Basic+DA) as Rs.350000/-.but not basic pay alone also.
As per my understanding You need to calculate gratuity by two mothods ;
1) Basic pay x15 = certain sum
2) 35000 x 15 x32 = 6,46000/-
------------
26
Please confirm the calculation.
You will get higher of the two sums subject to the maximum of Rs 1000000/-

Hi,
I resigned from my old organization in jan-2015 but still I am not getting my full and final settlement amount. Regarding this I talk and mail to company HR, Account head and MD but still not any response. They mentioned in my appointment letter we cannot join Competitor Company but in my appointment letter they didnot mentioned any competitor company name. I ask them on mail and verbally name of Competitor Company, but no any response.
If any suggestion please revert back as soon as.
Thanks & Regards
Ravinder Kumar
