Can you all suggest some employee engagement activities. If workplace consists of around 50 to 60 employees in a location what kind of employee engagement activities can be started which are cost effective i.e. with minimum or no cost... Idea is to socialize new joinees and binding employees so that they should not get distracted from changing situations...

Its very important to keep the employees engaged...otherwise the energy goes to the negative forces..The Best things that can be driven is forming different committees of employees like Gall up , Innovators , Ladies forum , Fun Committee , Six Sigma Process Improvements Committee , FMEA ...Employees should be asked to prepare various presentations on topics of their choice.
