Hi Sachin,

Singapore clientiele majorly are banking, financial services and insurance companies. Most of the banks and insurance companies have their APAC regional hubs in Singapore.

With reference to IT positions with these clients, they look for production support, application support experienced reesources. Skills vary with client to client and applications.

Client to client for ex:

Citibank most of the time they have requirements for experienced people on MF, Vision Plus, Oracle/Pro*C/UNIX etc..,.

Deutsche bank is on Oracle Technologies, PB/Oracle, Messaging tools like Swift/MINT etc..,.

Credit Suisse is on Sybase skills iwth UNIX/Perl/Java and high prefernece for people with investment banking domain.

Most of the projects are on Application Support and Production support systems.

ORACLE / LEGACY SYSTEMS/ DW etc.,. are the skills required by most of the clients.

There are too many vendors for every client. So it is highly transactional market with response time for proposing CV to one requirement is one day maximum or less. Highly competetive and highly transactional.

Regards,

Pavan
