Dear All, I just would like to know whether is there any age limit to avail P.F as well as pension scheme and the same for E.S.I?

Provident Fund being a scheme of investment, there is no age limit for it. However, an employee who has once made complete withdrawal of funds and is getting Provident Fund Pension is excluded from Pension Fund. In such cases, the employer' share towards Pension Fund (@ 8.33%) shall also be given to the credit of Provident Fund alone. For ESI also, so long as an employee is under the rolls of the company, he will be covered irrespective of his age but within the statutory rules regarding salary for out of coverage(ie, Rs 10000) Regards, Madhu.T.K
