hey veda,
Cheapest way of recruiting is through employee reference. you can paste the requirement on your notice board.
You can even go through the profiles which u have collected through walk-ins.
You can aim at freshers through campus interviews also.

Dear Veda,
It should be employee referral programme and please note that you should pay some amount employees towards this.... This programme not only helps you in cost but also to get suitable candidates for your organisation...
Trend also shows that employees recruited throgh this programme will stay with org for longer term and perform better too....

Hello Veda
:icon10:The cheapest way of recruitment is through Internal Job Posting through the available internal portal, Mails, SMS, Identifying the excessive manpower and their transfer with suitable training. To make it more effective Employee reference you may introduce an incentive scheme, if any suitable candidate is selected through employee. If the incentive amount is exceeding Rs.1000/-, then, you may pay this incentive in three months within 6 months, keep a track record and his continuance with you.

Hi,
The one and only Cost effective recruitment tool is emp referal, actually it will help in two ways viz.,recruitment and retention..,
for eg : if we are paying 1000rs per emp for referal,we can give it in two instalments, end of first month 400rs and end of third month remaining 600rs but we have to maintain a seperate tracker....,

I am a recruiter and I believe that the cheapest way is to go to the local govt unit in your area . And make a courtesy call to the mayor or head of social service to inform them that you need people to work for your company. Then set for a exclusive job fair;posting your job requirements in their offices but seek prior approval not to be illegal.
This is effective as well.Try it.

Hey Veda,
i agree to all my fellow members who say that employee referral is the cheapest way of recruitment. However, I would say that it is cheepest way indeed, if we compare it vs. consultants. Try doing a campus walkin or social networking hiring... That would save huge cost.
