This is Gopi from Pondicherry, I am working as HR Manager in a Leading MNC BPO.
We are all posting comments, giving suggestions, gaining knowledge from this CiteHR.
I have small suggestion that why don't we meet in our own local places like HR from mumbai, b'lore,chennai like wise should initiate a meet for a local members in Cite HR. So that when we organise it in local place and this can be grown into state level and national level. We can invite our CiteHR board member as a guest.
Dear friend i am ready to organise it in Chennai from my side if any one interested help me in organising this.

I think Gopi is right.....We should appriciate his point as we know each other very well and many of us are familier to eachother by one or the other way.........Then why not meet at perticular place....

Uh, what a coincidence.
Looks like I almost copied your posting.
This idea of having a CiteHR meet has been in my mind for quite some time. Infact this morning (sitting at home), I decided to put my idea on to the site for open discussions.
I put int another heading "Day Life"
I was looking at a much bigger getting together in (possibly) Mumbai (because that is where I believe the Administrator is based - it is my perception!).
Here is what I posted in Day Life:
"Hi All,
Just a thought..............
Can we have a CiteHR meet where most of us could meet, get to know all and discuss and share thoughts?
Ofcourse it would be an unimaginable task logistically and how to find the budget for this?
Obviously (that is what I think) it has to be in Mumbai? It could be just a half day meet on a nonworking day with lunch?
Request thoughts, suggestions etc on the feasibility. I wish CiteHR administrator would be the first to pen his thoughts.
And last but not the least if the "bloggers" on a Malayalam site could meet in Kochi and register their protests against the blocking of certain sites and get to know each other better, why not the Cite Family?
