Hi,
There are so many ways of attrition calculation. Usually,following formula is used across the industry:
No of employees releived during the year / (No of employees during the start of the year + No. of employees joined during that year)

the formula given by Shrithi is also in used by lot of org. apart from this following formula is also in used
= No. of Emp. resigned / Avg. no. of employeed *100
Avg. no. of employees = (Op. Bal + Closing Bal)/2
You can calculate monthly, quart., Annual attrition rate
