For one vacancy ads, portals are costly and time consuming. What u can do is contact ur personal contacts, and referral from the company employees would reduce the cost on recruitment. Hi
For positions of this nature, there are two alternatives.
1. Employee or other referrals
2. College Database
Employee referalls work better. I used to get the list of candidates passed out from local colleges and send them mails. Some times one is hundred turn out

can you my some other questions........
-> is there any cost involved in recruiting through employment exchanges..
-> as i said our need is to recruit computer operator..........so i think recruitment and selection process can be shortened..........what is suitable to conduct one small test or just interview????????

HI mana,
For the interview process u can have a typing speed test followed interview. In this two process u can find the speed with spelling errors, through interview process u can find out the attitude. Hope it helps.

Hi
I would suggest to go with
1) Employee refferal (or)
2) Personal database
but the approach can be useful only for small and simple jobs where as if you are looking for a specific person with some technical knowledge required for a small position then this may not work.
