Hi friends,
I need your valuable feedback. Suppose I worked for company A and joined company B. I requested for PF transfer from A to B and the request has been processed also.
Now, I change my company and join say company C. In this case what will happen to my PF transfer request from company A to B. Will there be any impact.
And how will I know that the transfer has been completed.

Usually this is an employee responsibility to get his PF transferred done by the admin/account executive/consultant of the Company. For the new every new employee, Form-2 and Form-13 gets filled. Form-13 is actually for transferring the PF from old Company to new Company. The filled form is sent to PF office to transfer the PF amount.
Hope this will help.

Kindly check with your B company whether the PF transfer form has been submitted to PF office or not.
IF yes, then take that submission receipt copy from B Company and again apply for PF transfer in C Company. Remember your PF number would be same.
IF NOT, then request them to don’t send the application and apply with C Company
You have to do contionious followup with PF department as you know PF office work.

HiRecently I enquired about the PF transfer status. Now company A says that they have already transferred the request. Now should I wait for 2-3 months. Or I directly enquire with company B. I will be joining company C in July.Robust

Hi,Why to wait...I think you must enquire wth your company B and why 2-3 months ...PF transfer take hardly 1 month. You can also check the status from PF dept by giving your number. If it is not transfer in company B and you can transfer in company C .I hope you got the points.Saloni

Hi,
when you leave one company and join another company at that time new company where you have joined also gives you one form to filling up. in that form you are supose to write old company details and about your past PF account number so you need not to worry. without actual joining your PF cannot be transfered. coz it required both parties approvel so if one company gives transfer order of your PF account to PF dept but if another company is not giving the details regarding new joined candidate and request of PF account transfer of that candidate, your PF account can't be transfer. so you may join company C.

Dear Robust,

It's very simple process to get your PF account transferred from one company to anpther incese of change. As you have mentioned that you left a company and joined another and again left this company and join the new one. Steps what you have to take in such cases,

1. If your PF account doesn't carry a big amount of money, would always suggest to withdraw.
2. If it carries, keep continuous follow up with your second company, incase the required documents have already been submitted by the previous employer, to transfer the amount.
3. You may also directly approach to PF dept to get the information of processing, you need to know your PF no and incase you are having the reciept of submission, will hwlp you ti inquire.
4. Once the amount is transferred, you may ask the new employer to get your dues transferred from the second employer and the process will remain ssame.

Note : you may contact your X - Employer to enquire the submission of required documents and the existing one for transferring the account.

Please let me know, if this seems satisfactory.....
