Dear,

Campus recruitment is very important source of recruitment these days for big companies. Generally, company looks for all the local colleges affiliated to local univeristy...Sometime they look for premier universities as well.. (it varies from company to company)

Companies take in consideration following parameters..

1) Students who are eligible for campus must have through out first class... (again varies)

2) Company asks college itself to provide with good candidates. In this case, instead of conducting interviews of students they select few recommended by college..

3) Company selects college which has good past record of 100% placement..

4) College which has good reputation..

There are many other parameters....Campus interview is some time consuming but it would surely be beneficial when company needs to do bulk recruitment. Company cannot arrange campus interviews when they want to fill up few requirements only....Company sometimes ask for the past alumni students data from colleges....

Hope this information would be helpful to you..
