Hi sir, I joined in march 2018 and absconded from XXX company in the June 2018 month and now I received a letter stating that I need to pay rupees 43000/- to them else they will take legal action against me. After absconding I have informed to my manager that I am leaving and also I sent an email to my manager stating that "I have absconded from your organisation and so requesting to issue me relieving letter".
Manager didn't replay to me. Now XXX is asking me to pay 43000 rs. I don't have money to pay them. I am currently working in different BPO company joined in January 2019. Background verification is not completed in this company. I didn't inform anything about the previous company.
Is there any chances of getting known about my previous employment details to my current company?
If they got to know what will be situations I am going to face them.
If I don't pay the amount will my career get effected? as they told they will take legal action against me
Kindly find the attachment sent to me from the XX.

Dear Friend,
As a HR i think that, If you wants to get separate from company then you should followed the company's procedures because this kind of absconding shows your unprofessionalism towards your employment.
Just think friend, if you gets an opportunity to work one of the best company's in India and they conducts your background verification and they comes to know that, candidate absconded in his previous employment, its effect your career's best opportunities.

Hi,
As rightly pointed out by Ravi you should have followed proper exit process with your previous employer.
With regard to compensation, it is not clear about the terms of employment you have entered with your previous employer. Have entered into any Agreement?. It depends on the terms and conditions of your appointment order. Please check.
If you are not going to resolve they will terminate and close the file. However this will have impact in future, with your future employer when they go for reference check (provided you are going to show the above employment in your Resume).

Without your appoinment letter it is difficult to suggest anything good. As per enclosed claim of 42223/-, your employer showing nothing against notice pay but some salary calculation(CTC) norm.
In my idea you consult a local alwyer deals in ID matter to suggest you good.
Always try to make a smooth exit so that your future will be better & secured. If you need releaving letter then make payment.
