Is the PF and ESI accounts monitoring responsibility generally lies with Finance function or HR function of the company. What is the generally adopted practice.

Dear Mr Balamurugan, Payment of ESI, EPF Contributions is normally done by Finance Dept. Uploading, Compliance responsibility is normally done by HR Dept.

Dear Mr Balamurugan, HR Department is handling all these things i.e PF, ESIC, PT & Labour Welfare Fund. Account Department is only responsible for payment Processing. PF, ESIC, PT & Labour Welfare Fund falls under HR Dept.
