Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am the HR Manager of a reputed Multi-institutional healthcare provider which has been into existence since 2008. I have an experience in HR and Administration for over a decade now. I wish to seek opinion on motivating employees who forms the majority of the manpower who have been recruited for various posts / designations overlooking their competence or educational qualifications, however they have been an integral part of growth of the institution in these long years. Their contributions are over and above their designated role ,however at the same time the institution is strongly unionized (5 labor unions, equally strong). The iteration is 0% in this category. I have been thinking hard on this for sometime. It would be nice to get some expert views / advise on this matter on how to motivate them to learn new things , change their attitude towards work as well as institution, improve their grooming and etiquettes, learn to use email and other IT systems, understand and implement the importance of budgeting/ documentation/ communication in English etc etc .
Thanks in advance
